Activities

This year seems to have been very full of Origami activities.

We began in March by Teaching at the Science Museum, then at the British Origami Society’s Spring convention Sharon and Paul performed some levitating magic tricks in tribute to Robert Harbin, who inspired so many people into the art of origami in the UK. Sharon was invited as a special guest to the German Origami convention.

As summer approached we created a window display for the Japan centre and taught for each saturday for a month at the centre.

At the Japan Matsuri we had a stand, and had a mad but wonderful two days at the Movie Comics Media Expo.

Following the success of the window display created for the Japan centre earlier this year, LondonOrgami were invited to create a Christmas themed display for the centre.

We were also invited back to the Science Museum to teach origami for the museums christmas themed ‘Lates’ event.

Usual mini meetings have also taken place and photographs of the recent events can be seen in this newsletter.

Therefore all that remains if for us to wish everyone a merry Creasemas and a Happy folding New Year!
