This is an electronic mailing list open to members of the BOS only. We use it to discuss models, diagramming, books and general society goings-on. Moderators ensure that submissions are relevant and abide by simple guidelines (below). Subscribe by contacting Nick Robinson (you'll need your BOS membership number).

Messages should be clearly related to origami or the society.
Personal replies to messages should not be sent to the group but to the individual concerned.
Message content should avoid politics, race, religion and all similar topics.
Any messages breaching these guidelines will be removed.
Posts should be made in plain text, rather than HTML.
Repeated breach of these guidelines will cause the individual to be unsubscribed.
New members should read the messages without posting for a few weeks. This is known as "lurking," and allows you to get to know the way things happen.
Typing in all capitals is CONSIDERED SHOUTING. It's easier to read a mix of upper and lower-case letters.
Don't post blatant advertisements or commercial messages.
Quote sensibly - DO NOT simply click "reply" and add a few words at the end - delete all but the essential parts of the quoted message.
Be brief and think about your audience - be careful with humor and sarcasm.
Use descriptive subjects so readers can skip messages with confidence.
Attachments should be approved by a moderator befoire being posted.
Moderators may from time to time write to individuals, advising them of good group practise.
